Interested in using Smartsheet to manage your projects? This course introduces Smartsheet users to fundamental project management features common to all project sheets. Learners will apply these features to manage projects, with a particular emphasis on PMI and PMBOK guidelines. 

Learning Objectives:
At the end of this course, participants will be able to:
• Create waterfall projects with dependencies 
• Manage and adjust project timelines 

Duration: 120 minutes 

Audience: This course is designed for existing and emerging project managers or licensed users involved in project or change management

Prerequisites: Participants should be familiar with basic sheet functionality, such as column types, comments and attachments, basic formulas, and sheet sharing permissions.

Features Covered:
• Creating a new project file using Import, Template, and Save as New Options
• Transferring the Work Breakdown Structure to Smartsheet Hierarchies 
• Adding and configuring columns for project use 
• Applying conditional formatting
• Transforming the base sheet to a project sheet  
• Adjusting the Working and Non-Working days of the plan  
• Creating task relationships (dependencies) and milestones 
• Adjusting task lag and lead time 
• Utilizing Critical, Driving and Summary Paths
