Welcome to Smartsheet Foundations
In this course, you'll take on the role of a design team manager and build a request tracking solution in Smartsheet. You'll learn about Smartsheet capabilities through interactive lessons in a simulated Smartsheet environment and self-paced practice activities.
Smartsheet Foundations Scenario
You are the Marketing Manager for the creative design team at MBF Corp. It's hard to track all of the requests that your team gets since you do such a wide variety of work for so many different audiences. It's also difficult to see who on your team is overworked and who has availability. You decide to create a more formal request intake and tracking solution with Smartsheet so you can visualize your work, communicate more efficiently with your team, and provide up-to-date information to all stakeholders and leadership. You created a requirements list that will guide the development of your solution and you also received a Smartsheet license so let's start creating your solution.
Lessons are interactive meaning that when prompted, you need to click and type on the screen. The PDF documents are extra practice activities. When you open a PDF, you'll download practice sheets to your own Smartsheet environment through a link in the PDF. We recommend using Google Chrome for the best experience in these lessons and in Smartsheet. There is an evaluation at the end of this course that you can fill out.
